Three-temperature High-purity Quartz Tube Furnace
This is a three-zone, open-type tube furnace with a maximum temperature of 1100°C (<0.5°C). The furnace tubes are made of high-purity quartz. Equipped with a pair of stainless steel sealing flanges, the equipment can heat treat samples in either vacuum or protective atmosphere. The temperature control system allows for 50 programmable ramps, with a control accuracy of ±1°C.
Furnace Structure:
*Double-shell construction with air cooling
*The furnace chamber is constructed of high-purity alumina fiber to minimize energy loss
*After installation, the interior of the furnace chamber is re-coated with a high-purity alumina coating to improve reflectivity and heating efficiency, extending the instrument's lifespan.
*The furnace chamber opens from top to bottom and features a power-off function.
*The furnace end cap and baffle rings are 180mm in diameter and can accommodate furnace tubes up to 180 x 1000mm in diameter. The furnace end cap and pressure ring are equipped with 4 x 50mm pipe plugs to support the quartz tubes. Four 50mm quartz tubes can be placed.
External furnace cabinet dimensions:
*Furnace cabinet height no greater than 700mm
*Furnace cabinet depth no greater than 700mm
*The upper portion of the furnace cabinet (furnace cover) is no greater than 700mm in length, while the lower portion (where switches, temperature display, flow meter, etc. are installed) is no greater than 1000mm.
*Twelve float flowmeters are installed on the furnace body, with a range of 0.2 to 2 L/min. Separate air inlet and outlet ports are provided.
Temperature Control System:
·Includes a YD858 temperature controller
·PID control and auto-tuning
·Intelligent 50-segment programmable control
·Temperature control accuracy: ±1°C
·Three temperature controllers independently control three temperature zones
·The system features a touchscreen interface that records temperature values in real time and stores data
·All controls, except the main power switch and gas flow adjustment, are integrated on the touchscreen
·The experiment can be paused midway, and after restarting, the user can select a specific heating stage to continue with.
·The heating rate uses a uniform ramp between PV and SV, reaching the target temperature at a uniform rate within the set time.
·Temperature control allows for simultaneous heating with one button, or individual heating control.
·The sample and catalyst zones can each store at least 20 different sample profiles, with editable profile names. Each profile can have at least 30 heating stages.
Vacuum sealing:
· Standard: Four pairs of stainless steel vacuum flanges and high-temperature silicone sealing rings, snap-on quick-release design (quick flange)
· Optional: In order to obtain a higher vacuum degree faster, it is recommended to use KF25 stainless steel flanges, stainless steel bellows and digital vacuum display gauge
Stainless steel flange:
4*1 stainless steel vacuum flange, inlet/gas filling at both ends, gas outlet at one end:
(1) Sample inlet end, equipped with two 6mm tubes (with ferrules) for gas inlet (nitrogen and oxygen), gas flow meter display
(2) The sample end to be tested is equipped with one 6mm tube (with ferrules) for gas filling (oxygen) and one 10mm tube for gas outlet (sample to be tested); the 6mm tube gas filling pipe must be at the center of the flange in the middle of the quartz tube to facilitate the addition of the catalyst

A vacuum furnace is a high-tech industrial oven used for heat treatment processes, primarily in the manufacturing and processing of metals, ceramics, and other materials. The furnace operates in a controlled vacuum environment, meaning that the air is removed from the chamber, creating a low-pressure atmosphere. This unique condition allows for specific and often superior material properties to be achieved during the heating process. Let’s dive deeper into the purpose of a vacuum furnace and why...
