Shanghai Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College and its partners successfully applied for a patent for a horizontal vacuum furnace, achieving precise and uniform heating.

September 2, 2025—Recently, information released by the State Intellectual Property Office revealed that Shanghai Vocational College of Electronic Information Technology and Yifa Schmalz Industrial Furnace (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. jointly applied for an invention patent titled "A Horizontal Vacuum Furnace with Uniform Heating Function." The patent, publication number CN120555705A, was filed in July 2025.

This patent relates to vacuum furnace technology and specifically addresses the common industry challenge of uneven temperature distribution within the furnace during high-temperature processing. It proposes a horizontal vacuum furnace solution with efficient and uniform heating.

This horizontal vacuum furnace comprises multiple core modules, including the furnace body, furnace door, vacuum system, atmosphere panel, cooling water system, pneumatic system, circulation system, detection and control system, and base. Its key innovation lies in the integration of a forced gas circulation system and a high-precision detection and control system. By real-time monitoring of multiple temperatures within the furnace and dynamically adjusting the heating strategy, it ensures highly consistent temperatures across all zones throughout the heating process.

This design significantly improves the quality stability of the heat treatment process and is particularly suitable for precision material heat treatment, semiconductor processing, and high-end manufacturing, which require stringent temperature uniformity.

This patent is not only a significant achievement in promoting technological innovation through university-enterprise collaboration, but also provides new technical support for improving the performance and industrial application of vacuum heat treatment equipment in my country.
